Most people walking past London’s iconic buildings never see the graft that happens when the doors close and the city goes quiet. Last week, we were in the capital with the team from HW Facilities to capture exactly that.
They’re a family business based in Wiltshire, but their reach is huge—they’ve got 800 people out there every day (and night) keeping some of the UK’s most prestigious spaces looking spotless.
Getting 800 people in one shot is impossible, but we spent a day on-site getting a proper look at the team behind the scenes. It was a brilliant day out documenting the people who actually get the job done. It’s a massive operation, and it’s always a pleasure to photograph a crew that takes as much pride in their work as these guys do.
